At BULKHEAD, we have an exciting opportunity for a Build Engineer to come and join our team.
We are looking for a highly self motivated individual with a passion for creating and maintaining efficient build processes and tools. Engineers with a strong desire to provide excellent user experiences are ideal for this role.
As a Build Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and contributing to the build and release infrastructure that underpin our FPS games. You will help to design and implement a robust UE5 based build system. This will include the creation of custom tools, implementation of automated testing processes and the development and maintenance of a CD/CI pipeline.
Working with members of multiple disciplines to effectively elicit requirements and communicate opportunities as well as constraints.
Working effectively in open and collaborative environments.
Employing a can-do attitude to solve difficult problems as part of an agile, fast-moving and highly-focused team.
Communicating ideas, intent, and constraints to both technical and non-technical team members.
//REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Professional experience maintaining, extending and contributing to build pipelines and infrastructure for more than one shipped title.
-Professional experience working with Perforce and TeamCity.
-Experience working with the Unreal Engine and a solid understanding of its build system.
-The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to self-organise.
-The people skills to work collaboratively within a team.
-Strong proficiency in a scripting language.
-Strong proficiency in C++.

-Professional experience with continuous delivery of updates and content for live games.
-Professional experience integrating cloud-based infrastructure within build pipelines (i.e. AWS/Azure/GCP).
-Professional experience working with virtual machines and/or containers.
-Experience integrating automated testing within build pipelines.
-Experience with FPS games.
