// DESCRIPTION

As our Lead Finance Partner BULKHEAD expects that you are a focused individual able to deliver timely and accurate management information to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to work with all our people across the studio building great relationships along the way, making financial information accessible to them in a way they understand and require.

This is a wide and varied Finance role, so BULKHEAD expects that you are confident and proactive, you can work independently with high attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload whilst also leading a team and prioritising their needs. It is expected that you can display a high level of professionalism whilst dealing with confidential information.

// RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare forecasts, budgets, P&L’s and balance sheets

- Assist with the preparation of year end accounts, audits, VGTR applications, annual tax returns and VAT returns

- Ownership of BULKHEAD’s cash flow including accountability of bank reconciliations

- Ownership of BULKEAD’s receivable and payable functions

- Work with BULKHEAD’s Lead HR Partner to manage UK payroll

- Work with BULKHEAD’s Lead HR Partner to manage European payroll

- Work with BULKHEAD’s Lead HR Partner on all people benefits

 - Prepare project budgets with game leads and work with the budget owners to track their budgets and report on them

- Line manage BULKHEAD’s Finance team

- Ownership of all Finance technology and services used

- Any other reasonable requests from our CFO or CEO

// REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification

- At least 2 years in a line management role

- At least 5 years in a finance role

- Strong analytical skills

- Ability to deal with complex accounting matters

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong problem-solving ability
